I’m a PhD-level linguist with a focus on social communication, language variation, and digital content.
As a Language Expert, I support teams, platforms, and organizations in shaping content that is precise, context-aware, and linguistically consistent – whether in editorial workflows, localization, or language quality assurance.
My work includes developing inclusive style guides, reviewing UI copy, blog content, and legal texts. I work in German as a target language, with English and Romanian as working languages.

Until 2025, I was German Language Manager at Faire, an international B2B e-commerce platform. I was responsible for all German-language content: website and app copy, UX texts, emails, support articles, subtitles, and legal documents. I helped shape the platform’s language strategy, tested AI-based tools, and built a consistent voice and tone.
Before that, I worked freelance as a translator, copywriter, and editor – for clients including Booking.com, KAYAK, Fraunhofer Fokus, and Vistatec. I created SEO-optimized content, adapted texts for different audiences, and ran a Blog on social and political topics for several years.
In the NGO sector, I worked with Amaro Foro and the NBH Neukölln community center, focusing on social support, everyday guidance, and occasional press work. I assisted families with administrative processes, offered advice on daily bureaucracy, and helped facilitate interviews.

In my dissertation, I examined how films portray cultural difference and reinforce racialized narratives.
Using the German film Knallhart (2006) and the Romanian film Furia (2002), I analyzed how characters are framed as “threateningly different,” and how this portrayal is legitimized through realism and political endorsement.
I used a detailed model of character analysis and drew on theoretical concepts by Richard Dyer and Stuart Hall, particularly regarding the unmarked nature of whiteness and the construction of cultural difference.
